Dear Heroes and Heroines of the Battle of Britain,
I salute your bravery, determination, courage, and steadfastness in the face of all the odds against you in the Battle of Britain, 1940.
As a WRAF, and RAuxAF RAF Regiment, veteran, I can only marvel at what you achieved on the peoples, and the nation’s behalf. And that you served so unselfishly, bravely, and with great honour.
I wish that you could look back on what you did then, and see the fruits of your Service. Because I believe that you would truly feel the gratitude of each and everyone one of us alive today, who owe everything we have to what you achieved in the summer of 1940.
