The Battle of Britain 85 anniversary. This is my Memorial dedicated to Royal Air Force pilots who many never returned home fighting over the sky’s of English Channel in summer of 1940 against the German Luftwaffe Air Force. Royal Air Force pilots where young tired and never stopped day after day to try intercept the enemy. The sacrifice they made will never be forgotten so many lives were lost. The late great Spitfire pilot Sir Jeffrey Willem said you did think that you could die at any moment? You just kept fighting on until the was nothing left of you to give..how can you forget Remembering sacrifice and the brave man who you have lost great friends. You just let go of your emotional experience with Tears in your eyes knowing you will never going to see them again đź’” that what War does to people back then. Battle of Britain anniversary 85 year on in are living History inspires future generations to learn the true horror of the second world War and the brave man and women both sides of the conflict who worked so very hard in difficult circumstances to fight for our freedom… Lest we Forget RAF BBMF..RIP 🙏
